Revelation 21:13 shows a map of 12 gates of a great city...?

The scripture shows 3 gates at the north, south, east, and west, and if you look at a map of the world, I found a possible place for these references, whereas, the 3 gates on each side is found around the strait gates at Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming... Does anyone know of a better placement for these coordinates to fit ?

When bible is written still any one were newed that American continent existing.
Nothing true!!!Do not believe that,please.On the other side; why do you think that gates are in USA?The Bible was written so early in the Middle Ages!!!! America was even not yet discovered! A smile.The monks did adopt the Bible for their epoch and many things are in the Bible added to their time.It is a nice tail only.
The great city is the New Jerusalem. The U.S. is never mentioned in the end times or after.
Unfortunately the Bible does not talk about Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. The Bible is complete and interprets itself, thus you must compare scripture with scripture to get a correct understanding of a particular passage.

The great city of God is a symbolic representation of God's people.

Psalm 48:2 Beautiful in elevation,The joy of the whole earth, Is Mount Zion on the sides of the north, The city of the great King.

Mount Zion = City of the great King

Psalm 125:1 Those who trust in the LORD Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.

Hebrews 12:22-24 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Mount Zion = City of Living God = Heavenly Jerusalem =

those who are registered in heaven.

If you read a few verses back in Revelation 21 one of the angels says to John "I will show you the bride, the lamb's wife." And then the angel proceeds to show him the heavenly city coming down from heaven.

Who is the bride? The Lamb's wife?
